Mechanics [ ]

A Ship acts as a mobile base and command center, transporting supplies, Treasure, and other quest rewards and items, also equally providing mobile access to actor resources via Resources Barrels, Ammo Chests and the Armoury. A player's electric current Send also acts as their respawn bespeak if they dice (unless their Ship sank, in which instance they either respawn in the water where their ship sank or respawn nigh their ship at a random Island).

A new Transport is automatically generated when a player or team of players form a crew. There is no cost to spawn a basic Transport. Cosmetic Ship customizations can be purchased via in-game currency, and in one case owned by a player, they tin can be practical and swapped by that thespian to their current Send at no price.

The maximum size of a crew is determined by the size of the Ship. There is no minimum crew size, even for larger Ships, and fifty-fifty a unmarried player tin elect to offset a new game with a big Galleon (though operating such a large Ship alone would prove hard).

The servers are currently capable of holding up to 5 Ships at i time, with a maximum of 16 players full.

Ship Impairment [ ]

Every Ship can sustain impairment from diverse sources and volition somewhen sink if not repaired. Well-nigh harm to a ship tin exist fixed with Wooden Planks - This includes the Hull, Wheel, Masts and Capstan. The most important location to repair harm is the hull as hull impairment allows water to begin flooding the ship, eventually causing the transport to sink should the water level reach the top deck. The hull of a ship can take damage from shot Cannonballs, standoff with large objects, big waves within Storms, Gunpowder Barrel explosions, Burn and Volcanoes.

The masts, wheel and capstan of a ship can each sustain three cannonballs worth of impairment, with each missive striking requiring one wooden plank to repair. When hit past Chainshot, these parts of the ship volition take maximum impairment, instantly breaking. Chainshot that strikes the hull of a send or Player Pirates only do one-half of the damage of a regular cannonball.

Cursed Cannonballs do non practise any damage to a ship, still they volition use special furnishings to the ship or crew. Majestic Cursed Cannonballs utilise different hindering effects to the ship and its equipment when striking, while dark-green Cursed Cannonballs use different hindering effects to all Player Pirates aboard the ship when hit.

Fire can spread onto every surface of the send, including masts, any flooring, piece of equipment and fifty-fifty atop the Crow's Nest. Fire deals damage slowly. It takes from 1-2 minutes for a single patch of fire to bargain i point of damage to a Capstan, Mast, Cycle or Hull surface. Burn down will spread infinitely on a send until doused with water. When an item is left burning on a Stove for too long, the kitchen area will be assail burn down. A ship can be attack burn down by getting hit by Lightning, thrown or shot Firebombs, the explosions of the Chest of Rage, and exploding Gunpowder Barrels.

A Blunderbomb that hits a ship does not crusade any damage to the ship, but it volition push information technology dorsum every bit if the ship were hit by a weakened gunpowder barrel explosion.

Whatsoever sunk ships flying an Emissary Flag will leave the flag backside as a Cleaved Emissary Flag, which tin can be sold to the Reaper'south Bones for reputation and gilt, depending on the emissary level the flag was on.

Scuttling [ ]

It is possible to voluntarily Scuttle (sink) ane's own Ship via the in-game Crew settings carte. Scuttling requires all players of the crew to vote on the decision, later which their Ship volition exist filled with unrepairable holes and sink. The Send will then respawn at a random isle.

Players are taught how to scuttle their ship in the Ferry of the Damned, to go them out of a situation where another Crew is harassing them. Ships can also be scuttled to run into whether the Crew missed whatsoever treasure items onboard if they accept been misplaced.
